The Venice Biennale (2019)

The Venice Biennale tells the story of dark lands, where enlightened sects use art as an instrument to convert its inhabitants. The most threatening of all is an illuminated society of witches. This society is set on conditioning the inhabitants of the wasteland through incantations, powered by diffusive sounds. Their rhizomatic enchantments burn through the eardrums of the commoners, rendering them mindless followers of the illuminated. The witches use a technology that enables them to transmit their spells across the wasteland in ever increasing multitudes. Wherever these signals surface, dwellers are lured into their magic, only to be forever lost.
