Proverbs 2:13 (2017)

Similarly to documentation capturing a moment, walled spaces function as capsules of a reality maintained inside. Proverbs 2:13 confuses several layers of reality, fiction and mimesis. At the center of the installation is a life-size replica of a London flat belonging to Mark Savon, the pseudonym of the former owner of a large dark web marketplace. Viewers can walk around the staged flat and look inside through the windows and door cracks. Alongside the installation are three videos, with the main one showing a documentation of the flat’s origins that blends truth and lies.
